Puppets Created for Stop Motion Animation

The process for creating puppets for stop motion animation includes sculpting faces in hands less than two inches in size, creating silicon molds to make face multiples, and creating skulls for the faces to sit on, which contain rotating eye sockets and magnets to ensure the faces sit on the head. Armatures are also constructed from kits or handmade, and altered to fit the purpose of each individual puppet.
